So, the dark world can do all types of early chain reverbs, if you have only a single spot for one extra reverb on the pedalboard, correct? Because, I have a spot for just one.

This was just another pedal to my ears until you started playing exactly the kind of music that this pedal is made to excel at. I know it sounds restrictive but that is now up to the final users. Fantastic demo and that song is just too epic to not be in an end of the world movie sound track or something.

Which delay/reverb pedal would you recommend in 2024?

It's really nice. Very lush chorus. But, my desert island choice for pitch instability would be the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water, because I like the fact the vibrato isn't predictably periodic. similar with Strymon Magneto and it's Flutter etc... and it's more subtle. But, then again, they don't do a Chorus like this.

I have read that Phones Out is an amplified signal and can damage amplified stage monitors (as these monitors are expcting low voltage signals to amplify). You are connecting with the guitar amp so this is ok? I need to connect Behringer UV1 phones out to a Behringer EQ700 and then to a Makie Thump12, can you tell me if this is harmful? Or it is a matter of adjusting the volumes to not damage the monitor? thank you.

Been waiting for this since SGFX brought back Diamond. The smaller form factor and top-mounted jacks are a welcome innovation. Slightly nervous about the prospect of this "Compandor Circuit" but it won't stop me from ordering one immediately.

You don't' need to shred to be a great guitarist. Stephen you are rythmicaly very persise and acurate, unlike most shredders that can play at 500bpm which loose the count the first few bars. Music is rysthm and melody NOT speed and melody!

Hi Stefan! I got the Darklight a while back, and it seems like it has a hard time when there are TRS in stereo pedals behind it… Have you found a workaround for this?

Just a follow-up: I already own a Wampler Latitude Deluxe v2 and a Fulltone Supa Trem2 v2. I must admit, for a while I figured I was done buying tremolo pedals - until I saw your video here, and the way you incorporated it into your work. I was blown away by the Hydra. I figured I'd eventually pick one up (also have Keeley's Eccos and Halo Delays, so this is seems like a natural addition to that line-up). At the end of March, I finally bit the bluet and bought a Hydra. Absolutely love it! The Microcosm remains on my To Buy list for ambient tones. Thanks again, Stefan, for the amazing videos and the gems you share with us. Priceless! Be well, brother.

Just ordered this; have been thinking about it a couple months . Thanks for the demo and inspiration. Reverb is my favorite effect and Ive been using Strymon Cloudburst for the last couple years. MercuryX has so much more in one unit...cant wait!!

Hey man, where would you put a Dark Star on the chain out of interest if i currently have a Walrus Slotva at the start. keen on figuring out where exactly/which to set at the start/end of the chain before I have both in the collection. Also i have a Granular Particle 2 on the way & I'd like to know where you'd be drawn to placing that between all the mods & gains in the middle! Cheers! Loving the channel.

I feel like adding my Levitation Reverb + a Digitech whammy pedal to completely let those frequencies fly out of control. Maybe an enzo (if i had one...) to completely stretch out the idea of what a guitar is supossed to sound like. After all these years in my music journey im still astonished by the infinite possibilities that 12 notes can provide. Been a subscriber since years and this channel is still the best when it comes to pedal demos.
